A nostalgic medium meets the grind of everyday life. The name itself is a nod to both the material and the message: “Green” for the iconic, rigid plastic toys of our childhood, and “Gaffes” for the blunders, awkward moments, and absurdities we all inevitably stumble through.

Taking that classic aesthetic and placing it directly into comical, mundane, and entirely relatable situations, this collection is a lighthearted celebration of the everyday, crafted with meticulous artisan detail. Drawn from my time in the military, many of these scenes reflect comical, sometimes raw, or awkward situations I’ve personally navigated or observed. They are presented with deep respect and a lighthearted touch—not to be insensitive, but to evoke humor, particularly for fellow veterans, from the shared experiences and unique absurdities of military life. This collection is an ongoing exploration, with new vignettes and silhouettes being developed in the studio.
