Frequently asked questions
What are the figurines made of?
Our figures are produced using premium additive manufacturing materials—primarily high-detail photopolymer resins (SLA) and specialized dyes. This allows us to capture the exact textures, crisp uniform details, and smooth, flowing silhouettes you see in the final piece.
Are they toxic?
No. Once our production and curing processes are fully complete, the material is completely inert, stable, and safe to handle. However, please note that these are gallery-standard display pieces rather than children’s toys, and they should not be chewed on or used in food-preparation environments. Additionally, you should never sand or attempt to physically modify the figures. If you do choose to sand them for any reason, proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—such as a high-quality particulate respirator—is strictly required to prevent breathing in or ingesting fine resin dust.
What is included with my purchase?
The inclusions vary depending on the size of the figure you order:
110mm Figures: Each 110mm piece arrives securely housed in a highly durable, custom 3D-printed case. This case is designed to protect your figure during transit and to serve as a premium keepsake box afterward. By simply removing the interior protective insert, the case can be repurposed to store small personal items, mementos, or knick-knacks.
55mm Figures: Our 55mm figures come securely packaged in either a clear plastic case that doubles as a display, or an elegant floating display frame. Note: If you prefer the 3D-printed keepsake case, we do offer them scaled for the 55mm figures as an alternative option, subject to availability.
Do they resist the elements?
These figures are designed specifically for indoor display. While the cured material is highly durable, even with its protective UV coating, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme outdoor weather can eventually degrade the material and compromise the finish.
Where are they made?
Every single piece is conceptualized, digitally sculpted, printed, and meticulously hand-finished right here in our Central Texas workshop.
Are they painted?
No. Our figures are never surface-painted. Instead, we custom-mix a precise blend of premium resins, dyes, and pigments before the production process begins. Because this custom color is intrinsic and runs completely through the solid structure of the piece, there is no surface paint to scratch, chip, or flake over time.
How big are the figures?
We offer our figures in two primary sizes: 110mm (approximately 4.3 inches) and 55mm (approximately 2.2 inches). Please note that the exact total height will vary depending on the figure’s posture (for example, kneeling or crouching poses will naturally be shorter) as well as any included props.
Some figures are matte while others are glossy. Why?
Although the figures themselves are unpainted, every piece is hand-sealed with a premium UV protectant to preserve the material and ensure long-lasting durability. The final topcoat—whether a soft, light-diffusing matte or a vibrant gloss—is deliberately chosen based on the figure’s color and its specific collection. For example, pieces in the Heroes Post and Moments In Form collections typically feature a matte coating to draw focus entirely to the posture, uniform details, and flowing silhouettes, while other designs may utilize a gloss coat to elevate a different aesthetic.
Are they hollow?
No. Every figure is produced as a completely solid piece. We never hollow out our models to save on material. Printing them completely solid ensures maximum structural integrity and gives each piece a substantial, premium weight that reflects its artisan-crafted quality.
Do they come off the base?
No. Every figure and its accompanying base are manufactured together as a single, continuous solid piece. The figure is designed to meld seamlessly into the pedestal with no joints or structural separation, which ensures absolute stability and maintains a unified, gallery-standard presentation.
Do you take custom orders or commissions?
While we are always expanding our collections and exploring new eras for Heroes Post, we do not currently offer bespoke individual commissions or custom facial sculpts. Our focus remains on producing our carefully curated lines—capturing universal postures and authentic historical silhouettes that resonate with everyone.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Because every piece is part of a small-batch production and undergoes rigorous hand-finishing, orders typically take up to 2 business days to process before shipping via USPS Ground Advantage.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. For our local customers in the Central Texas area, we offer a local pickup option at checkout. Once your order is completely cured, finished, and packed, we will email you with instructions to arrange your pickup.
How should I clean or care for my figure?
To keep your figure looking its best, simply dust it lightly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using water, harsh chemical cleaners, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the UV-protective topcoat.
